Buckinghamshire Community Foundation

Apply for a Grant

Since our launch in 2000 Buckinghamshire Community Foundation has made grants that touch the lives of many people living in the county. This could not have been possible without the fantastic support of the funders and donors which includes local individuals, families, companies, trusts and public bodies.

Buckinghamshire Community Foundation has a variety of grant programmes available. You do not have to be a registered charity to receive a grant from us, but you should be a voluntary or community group or project operating in Buckinghamshire, philanthropically established to actively support your local community.

We are delighted with the popularity of the Slough Social Fund grant programmes but as a result of the high demand, the Foundation has needed to take steps to reduce the frequency with which these applications are considered.

  • Applications to Slough Social Fund will be considered again in September 2010 (deadline 8th Sept 2010)
  • Applications to Small Grants will continue to be considered every other month as normal

Two new funds are now available for grants

  • Bucks Masonic Grassroots Fund - applications will be considered in September 2010 and April 2011
  • Windhill Trust - applications will be considered in Sept 2010 and April 2011.
  • Applications to Grassroots will no longer be considered. The last Grassroots applications for government funded Grassroots grants were allocated in May 2010.  However, donations to the endowment fund will continue to be matched 1:1 by the government until March 2011 and the yield will provide grants in perpetuity. Application information for endowment grants will be posted here at a later date
  • Applications to Comic Relief - no more will be taken as the funds have been fully allocated

If you want to apply for a grant please complete and submit an Expression of Interest form as the first step. You will then be sent an application form for the relevant fund. The appplication form must be completed and returned to us by the deadline date. If you require any further information about the application process and what's available to you, please telephone us on 01296 330134

Deadlines for receipt of applications and dates of Grants Panel meetings may be viewed on the calendar of events (see under News & Events).

We look forward to hearing from you!
