"It's personally rewarding to know that Buckinghamshire Community Foundation supports smaller causes, the ones that can't and don't spend lavishly on publicity, those that keep their running costs to a minimum. Those organisations can really benefit from a contribution, even a small sum can make a huge difference and it is so important that selfless efforts to improve the life and lives of others are appreciated and recognised.
Bucks CF is generous with grants but frugal with overheads. It is a lean organisation with no tangible assets beyond the essential and very much appreciates its rent-free accommodation. I think its strength lies in the people who work for it and those who support its aims.
